Visitors come from all over the world to visit our beaches, shop in our stores, eat in our fine restaurants and drink our wines. Visitors and residents golf, swim, bike, hike, run, kayak and they work out in our gyms and spas. There is music and theater, museums and sites.
Long Island's East End has been known as a summer paradise, and it is. Our beaches are rated among the best in the world. Boating and fishing are naturals. We are an island! But don't go home when summer is over. The party is just beginning. Long Island farms grow some of the best produce in the world. Visit our farm stands. There is nothing like fresh picked. Long Island fisheries bring in the freshest fish daily. The new wines and beers come out in the fall. Long Island is wine country. Micro breweries and craft beers are sprouting up all over the country. Long Island is leading the way.
Fall and spring are great times for outdoor sports. Golf, running, biking and hiking are even better in the cooler temperatures. Lucky for us, with all this great food around, you need to work it off.
